Level 3, Spiral & Tripod QiGong

Level 3 combines Yin and Yang, the form is based on the Yi Jing (I Ching) and is more complicated than the first 2 courses. The meditations are further advances in Taoist energy cultivation. The philosophy focuses on sacred geometry, the Yi Jing (I Ching) and it's application to QiGong and your personal practice. Students are also taught the 12 primary acupuncture channels and special points for healing themselves and helping others.

Tripod and Spiral QiGong focuses attention on particular organs, acupuncture channels and points where most energy blockages occur due to our modern lifestyle. Tripod and Spiral QiGong comes from the Kunlun Mountain Wildgoose QiGong Lineage. It is based on the ancient wisdom of the BaGua (8 trigrams) of the I Ching (Book of Changes). In sync with the 64 hexagrams of the I Ching, there are 64 movements that flow in a fun, and graceful, dance like manner. More advanced breathing techniques in combination with focused awareness, especially on the belt, stomach and gall bladder channels, as well as specific acupuncture points make this a very effective and special form.

More advanced meditation to strengthen our wei (external/guardian) Qi and connect with the greater oneness of the universe is taught as an adjunct. The 12 primary energy channel pathways of the body are taught in detail, along with powerful acupuncture points of special importance. Students learn location and function, which strengthens one’s intention and focus while doing QiGong, therefore making your practice more effective. Additional meditations are taught, so students are able to control, and manipulate the energy within and around their bodies.
